Get Rid of Acne and Pimples Permanently

When our skin glands produce oil in excess, they combine with dead skin cells and block skin pores, which leads to bacterial growth leading to pimples. Genetics , skin type and hormones also play an important role the extent of the problem. If we take care of 2 critical aspects , we can get rid of acne and pimples permanently.

Skin Care

Wash your face twice a day

Wash your face twice a day, preferably in the morning and at night before going to sleep. This removes the excess oil and bacteria. Rub your face gently in circular motion. Also use a toxin free face wash. Tea Tree Oil based face wash , due to their antibacterial power , gently remove sebum, excess dirt and makeup without stripping the skin of its natural oils.

Drink adequate Water

Without proper hydration , flushing out toxins gets difficult , which in turn increase the possibility of Acne. Have 2-3 glasses of water first thing in the morning , which leads to clear stomach facilitating clear skin and also rid of acne and pimples permanently.

Sunscreen

Too much exposure to ultraviolet rays damages your acne prone skin. Avoid going out when the sun rays are strong . If you have to go out then protect your skin with natural sunscreen and/or wear cap etc.

Avoid touching your face

Irrespective of whether your skin is acne prone or not , do not touch your face. This unhealthy habits leads to numerous bacteria being transferred from your hands to your face.

Never pop a pimple

We should avoid popping a pimple as this results in spreading of the puss on your face leading to more pimples.

Daily Exercise/Shower post exercise

Daily exercise is highly recommended for people having acne prone skin as exercise leads to sweat which flushes out the dead skin cells as well as dirt in skin pores. Taking a shower after a workout cleans the skin of the dead cells and dirt.

Nutrition

Avoid oily and greasy foods

More oil you eat more oil your skin produces, which is a primary reason for pimple/acne. Even in homemade foods, use cold pressed oils instead of refined oils eg coconut oil.

Eat foods rich in dietary fiber

Eating a high fiber diet helps the body to flush out toxins easily. Some of high fiber foods are whole wheat, oats, semi brown rice, fruits, vegetables.

Eat foods high in water content

We all know how important it is to keep the skin hydrated. Having fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables also keeps your skin hydrated. Some examples of high water content foods are cucumber, water melon, apple, oranges.

Avoid Refined Sugar

Foods like sweets, chocolates, cold drinks, packaged juices are harmful to your skin as they contain refined sugar. Refined sugar is chemically processed and is washed with Sulphur which our body cannot break down resulting in toxins.
